March 2009 I was called two days before this gig to learn 17 of Hal's songs. This song "Stay Forever" was written by Benmont Tench keyboardist with Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers band. A couple of hours before the show, at soundcheck, I met Hal and his band for the first time. We had a great time! I used my Fender Nocaster and Swart AST amp with a Deluxe Memory Man delay.
