I'm not from this world I came from Atlantis

Serious Sam HD: The First Encounter - Karnak Part One [Secrets Found + All Enemies Killed]

Level: Karnak (Part One) Secrets: Eight Secrets in this part: Two Total Number of Enemies: 863 Difficulty: Normal So some people out there decided to call me out and add an extra challenge for this level. You sadists. The challenge, in so many words, is this: Complete the level. Find all the secrets. Kill all the enemies. Gain the Perfect Kill achievement. Don't get hit once. It ended up being one of the hardest challenges I've ever undertaken in a game. I was pretty damn relieved when I finally put this level to bed. I've also decided to inform you at differing points in the level how many enemies you should have killed by a certain point. Ain't I a gent? Marsh-Hoppers - they've returned once more to make life miserable. Smirking at me with their toothy grins. Staring at me with those lifeless eyes... I've got a score to settle with you! ---------------------------------------- It's important to note that at any point in this level, the smaller Lava Golems that spawn from the larger ones when they die DON'T count toward the overall enemy count in the level. Remember that, it's very important. 2:10. After the Generous Yard, 6 enemies should have been killed. Again, the smaller Lava Golems you encountered here DO NOT count toward the overall enemy count. Only the large ones do. 4:28. Remember to do a complete loop of this area before walking out the door. There will be a Kleer Skeleton you'll miss otherwise. 5:15. Before walking through this door to the monolith courtyard ...

Copyright Jim Rogers - provided as a special contribution to The Fenton Report. www.fentonreport.com Egypt is a country mainly in North Africa, with the Sinai Peninsula forming a land bridge in Western Asia. Covering an area of about 1010000 square kilometers (390000 sq mi), Egypt borders the Mediterranean Sea to the north, the Gaza Strip and Israel to the northeast, the Red Sea to the east, Sudan to the south and Libya to the west. Egypt is one of the most populous countries in Africa and the Middle East. The great majority of its estimated 82 million live near the banks of the Nile River, in an area of about 40000 square kilometers (15000 sq mi), where the only arable agricultural land is found. The large areas of the Sahara Desert are sparsely inhabited. About half of Egypt's residents live in urban areas, with the majority spread across the densely-populated centres of greater Cairo, Alexandria and other major cities in the Nile Delta. Egypt is famous for its ancient civilization and some of the world's most famous monuments, including the Giza pyramid complex and its Great Sphinx. Serious Sam HD: The First Encounter - Karnak Part Two [All Enemies Killed]

Level: Karnak (Part Two) Secrets Eight Secrets in this part: None Total Number of Enemies: 863 Difficulty: Normal After the rather abrupt end to the last part, I shall endeavour to make sure this video doesn't end as swiftly as the last. Well, it's not quite as abrupt. Those poor palm trees. Before Sam came along, they were minding their own business swaying in the breeze before a Rocket Launcher decided to show them what for. Shame to see all that lovely flora go to waste. ---------------------------------------- After the Gold Ankh room, make sure to walk around all the Shells and Armour to make the Gnaar appear. I noticed a glitch where if you don't walk over a particular spot in that area, the Gnaar doesn't appear and you end up missing a few more Gnaars that would usually spawn in. In the Praying Animal Statue area, make sure to explore the opposite two corners from where you enter, ie where the Rockets are, to spawn in some more enemies that you may be bound to miss. 0:07. Make sure to walk through the Health Cube in order to make the Beheaded Bombers appear. 0:40. Like I've said above, make sure to walk through the Health Bottle in order to make the enemies appear. 1:33. Make sure to.... Well, you know how it goes. 2:24. Before entering the four button column area, you should have killed 150 enemies by this point. 8:09. Before you enter the Ankh Pool area, you should have killed 272 enemies by this point. ---------------------------------------- No secrets here ...

Serious Sam: The First Encounter - Karnak Part One [Secrets Found]

Level: Karnak (Part One) Difficulty: Normal Secrets in this part: Two Secrets: Eight After overpowering and destroying the massive Lava Golem in the Alley of the Sphinxes, Sam manages to enter Karnak as nightfall hits the city. Here's something for you to learn. If you ever played the Serious Sam Demo or watched the intro movie before the main menu, you'll have seen/played Karnak in the day rather than at night. ---------------------------------------- Secret One: As the level starts, run backwards through the doors before they close and you'll enter the Generous Yard (0:09). Here, you'll find a Heart power-up, Rockets, Bullets and Grenades along with an Aludran Highlander, a Bio-Mechanoid Major and several Lava Golems. Secret Two: In the pillar room, press two switches. One is on a pillar to the far right (2:02) and the other is on a pillar to the far left (2:10). A Secret Platform will lower next to the door you entered from (2:18). The platform will take you up to a Secret Area (2:23) where you'll find some Cannonballs and a Health Bottle. Trust me, this all counts as one Secret.

Serious Sam HD: The First Encounter - Karnak Part Three [Secrets Found + All Enemies Killed]

Level: Karnak (Part Three) Secrets: Eight Secrets in this part: Three Total Number of Enemies: 863 Difficulty: Normal Ankh Pool, you were a tough nut to crack. The amount of times I was caught out in battle led me more often than not to restart this area all over again. Until, eventually, I played all the way through in one fell swoop and maintained the push for the challenge set before me. Tears of joy were evoked by the end. In the area where the Kleers and Kamikazes come at you with wonderful abandon (7:18 - 8:29), it was one of those few times where I came close to an adrenaline overload. That explains my twitchy weapon switching. 1:30. Huh, where did the Kleer go? 1:47. Oh, there he is. 3:05. It's nice to hear that music again after such a long time. ---------------------------------------- I did have a bit of trouble finding all the enemies in this area. Not on solid ground though - underwater. You need to swim over the health bottle at 1:55 and the Rockets at 2:44 respectively in order to make four Reeban Electro-Fishies appear. Failure to do so may result in you missing eight enemies. In the area where it's Kamikaze Karnage (5:52 - 6:35), again I must stress, the smaller Lava Golems that spawn here from the larger one DON'T count toward the overall enemy count. 1:32 & 1:40. On these occasions, the two Lava Golems killed here DO count toward the enemy count. ---------------------------------------- Secret Three: As you approach the Ankh Pool, make sure you're ...

Serious Sam HD: The First Encounter - Karnak Part Four [Secret Found + All Enemies Killed]

Level: Karnak (Part Four) Secrets: Eight Secrets in this part: One Total Number of Enemies: 863 Difficulty: Normal OK, Ankh Pool's done. What's next? The return of the Marsh-Hoppers? Let battle commence for the final time as this heated rivalry reaches its conclusion. In the battle with the reptilian scum, I decided to repeat my strategy from Oasis; go huddle in a corner and wait for the enemy to come to me but this time I had to do it without getting hit. I was so twitchy throughout the battle, I think the adrenaline saw me through to the end. Thank god I had some ammo spare with the Lasergun. In comparison, the Kamikaze and Kleer battles were a cakewalk compared to it. Just a simple case of swapping seamlessly, as best I could, between the Lasergun, Shotguns, Rocket and Grenade Launchers. In hindsight though, it really wasn't as simple as it looks. 5:11 - 5:18. Spot the glitchy giblet of Kamikaze. ---------------------------------------- 0:42. To trigger the Lava Golem and the Gnaar, walk around the other side of where the Praying Animal Statue would have stood if you've managed to refrain from destroying it. It doesn't matter either way. Anyway, walk toward the Ankh Pool door and they should both spawn in. Once again, I repeat, the smaller Lava Golems that spawn from the larger one DON'T count toward the overall enemy count. 1:06. This is interesting. This Gnaar spawns in behind the monument but never joins in any of the battles following your return from the Ankh Pool ...

Serious Sam HD: The First Encounter - Karnak Final Part [Secrets Found + All Enemies Killed]

Level: Karnak (Final Part) Secrets: Eight Secrets in this part: Two Total Number of Enemies: 863 Difficulty: Normal After a long struggle, the end is in sight. One more courtyard stands between me and victory. 2:21. That was a fluke shot. Honest. That's the reason why I refrained from chancing my luck again at 4:12 lest I make myself look the fool. 8:35 - 8:43. It might take some squinting from where you sit but there you have it. 863 enemies. Perfect Kill. The End. Right, I'm done. I've accomplished your arduous challenge. Just in time as well, the batteries in my mouse and keyboard need changing. *Takes a bow* ---------------------------------------- 0:22 - 0:25. Altogether now. The small Lava Golems that spawn from the larger one DON'T count toward the overall enemy count. I've repeated myself so much over this, I feel like it's written on the inside of my eyeballs. 2:34 - 4:06. During this entire battle, you need to hold off Witch-Harpies, Bio Mechanoid Majors and Gnaars all at the same time. This is the important thing to remember: During this fight, you must NOT kill all the Harpies before you've killed AT LEAST 15 Female Gnaars. If you kill all the Harpies before you do this, the rest of the Female Gnaars will not spawn in. 7:05. One last time. By the end of the level, if you've followed my instructions and videos carefully, you should have killed 863 enemies as the final Bio-Mechanoid Major crumbles to ash. ---------------------------------------- Secret Seven: On ...

The Game is HORRIBLE, i remember being excited to get this game on my 17th birthday (i'm 22 now) because i like the mummy ALOT, its one of my top favorite movies. but when i bought the game it was actually already used. so no wonder someone returned it, because it SUCKS. they made Imhotep too nice and the woman looks NOTHING like Meela/Anuk-su-namun AND there were hardly enough levels to play anything. BUT i will recommend the FIRST mummy video game.

Serious Sam: The First Encounter - Karnak Part Two [Secrets Found]

Level: Karnak (Part Two) Difficulty: Normal Secrets in this part: Three Secrets: Eight The battle music at the start is one that confuses me. What is said at the beginning? I always thought it was Sam shouting "Gore!" but you all have the chance to prove me wrong. Also, at the end of the battle in the Gold Ankh room, I completely manage to miss a Beheaded Kamikaze at point blank range. I always seem to mess up in the easiest of situations. Mark that down to cockiness. Regarding the fourth secret, the inventory is shown briefly but it's only to highlight what the secret Croteam Papyrus looks like. Because of the video resolution, you won't be able to read the text. Unless you've got super-human vision. ---------------------------------------- Secret Three: As you approach the Ankh Pool, make sure you're facing the monument as you jump in. Dive down and swim along the floor. Some Cannonballs are above the part of the floor that will lower when you swim over it. The floor will move away and eventually reveal a Secret Area (5:19) with Bullets, Rockets, Cannonballs, Armor and Health a-plenty to be collected. Secret Four: At the right hand side of the pool, push against the wall (5:56) that is coloured differently to reveal a Secret Place (5:59) that contains Full Armor and a Croteam Scroll. Invoke Netricsa to read what the scroll has to say. Secret Five: Swim through the underwater pipe from the Ankh Pool and you'll come up inside the temple. Level: Karnak (Part Three) Difficulty: Normal Secrets in this part: One Secrets: Eight Marsh Hoppers! Kleers! Kamikazes! Bah, I hate you! I hate you all! Curse your underhand tactics. Let's face it, it's hard to get through that entire battle unscathed, mainly because those sneaky bastard Marsh-Hoppers always cause me to get all flustered. I always tried to mind my surroundings when they're around to the best of my abilities. It's times like this you wish the Chainsaw was in The First Encounter. The Beheaded Kamikaze part was fairly easy as I always like to get them into a big group therefore causing a chain reaction when they explode. I'm a sucker for loud and big explosions. The Kleers - well, what can you say, Kleers are an annoyance. The Lasergun always seems to come to the rescue in times that I need it. ---------------------------------------- Secret Six: In the room with two bodies of water, jump in the left pool and push against the part of the wall which is coloured differently (1:55). The wall will move away and reveal a Secret Area (1:58) that leads to a spherical room with some Armor shards and a floating red blob.
