MELANIE SAFKA Dust in the Wind

Single, 2001 I close my eyes, only for a moment, and the moment's gone All my dreams, pass before my eyes, a curiosity Dust in the wind, all they are is dust in the wind Same old song, just a drop of water in an endless sea All we do, crumbles to the ground, though we refuse to see Dust in the wind, All we are is dust in the wind Don't hang on, nothing lasts forever but the earth and sky It slips away, and all your money won't another minute buy Dust in the wind, All we are is dust in the wind Dust in the wind, Everything is dust in the wind

Melanie Safka / Don't think twice

www.beepworld.de It ain't no use to sit and wonder why Babe It don't matter any how Ain't no use to sit and wonder why Babe If you don't know by now When the rooster crows at the break of dawn Look out your window and I'll be gone Well, you're the reason I'm travelin' on Don't think twice, it's all right Ain't no use in turnin' on your light Babe Like I never knowed Ain't no use in turnin' on your light Babe I'm on the dark side of the road Still I wish there was somethin' you could do or say Something to make me change my mind and stay Well, we never did too much talkin' anyway Don't think twice, it's all right I'm going down this long lonesome road Babe I'm bound for I can't tell Good-bye's just another word Babe So I'll just say fare thee well I ain't sayin' that you treated me unkind You could have done better but I don't mind You just kinda wasted all my precious time Don't think twice, it's all right Ain't no use in callin' out my name Babe Like you never done before Ain't no use in callin' out my name Babe I can't hear you anymore Well, I'm thinkin' an' I'm wonderin' the way down the road I once loved a good man a child I'm told Well, I gave him my heart but he wanted my soul Don't think twice Don't think twice, it's all... Don't think twice, it's all right Still I wish there was somethin' you could do or say Something to make me change my mind and stay Well, we never did too much talkin' anyway Don't think twice, it's all right

Melanie Safka performs Citiest People for Becklestein To the citiest people in the whole wide world You've been unkind to an un-city girl From the stone walls you grew So I'm not blaming you But look what the city Just look how the city Has taken a pretty And made an ugly of you Just look what the city is doin' to you To the citiest people in the citiest towns I'm not the one to be putting you down From the stone walls you grew But I grew there too And I know that the city The dirty old city Can take such a pretty And make an ugly of you Just look what the city is doin' to you -uploaded in HD at www.TunesToTube.com

Brand New Key (cover) - Melanie Safka

Thanks to the infamous baby commercial by the Hp ePrint, I couldn't get this song out of my head. The song is almost as cute as a traveling baby in a walker dodging traffic. I'm sure that's not legal, so instead of reenacting the baby scene, I just stuck with this cover tune by Melanie called "Brand New Key". Album " Born to be " , ( 1968 ) Momma Momma, I fear you reared me wrong, Momma Momma, I fear you reared me wrong 'cause I pick up my head, can't tell where I belong. Momma Momma, something's hurting me bad, Momma Momma, something's hurting me bad, I have a yearning for something that I never had. Oh, sometimes I feel my life has come and then it's gone, Sometimes I feel my life has come and gone. I live in this world but I'm only looking on. I can't understand, it's too far over my head, I can't understand, it's too far over my head. I'm living the life but I'm really dying instead, yeah. Momma Momma, I fear you reared me wrong, Momma Momma, I fear you reared me wrong, 'cause I lift up my head and I can't tell where I belong. Momma Momma Momma Momma, something's terribly wrong.
