"Take Five" is a jazz piece written by Paul Desmond and performed by The Dave Brubeck Quartet on their 1959 album "Time Out". Recorded at Columbia's 30th Street Studios in New York City on June 25, July 1, and August 18, 1959, this piece became one of the group's best-known records, famous for its distinctive, catchy saxophone melody and use of the unusual quintuple (5/4) time, from which its name is derived. While "Take Five" was not the first jazz composition to use this meter, it was one of the first in the United States to achieve mainstream significance, reaching number five on Billboard's Adult Contemporary Singles chart. "Take Five" was re-recorded and performed live multiple times by The Dave Brubeck Quartet throughout the group's career. In addition, there have been various covers of the piece. "Take Five" has also been included in countless movies and television soundtracks, and still receives significant radio play. Upon his death in 1977, Desmond left the rights to royalties for his performances and compositions, including "Take Five", to the American Red Cross, which has since received combined royalties of approximately $100000 per year. "Time Out" is a 1959 album by The Dave Brubeck Quartet, based upon the use of time signatures that were unusual for jazz (mainly waltz or double-waltz time, but also 9/8, and most famously 5/4). Devon (Alona Tal) and Gabby (Daniella Monet) are the ultimate fans of a band called 5 Leo Rise (The Click Five). So, when energy drink Shift sponsors a free 5 Leo Rise concert for the high school that collects the most bottle labels, Devon and Gabby deliver with a frenzy that only star-struck fans can. When the labels are destroyed in an accidental fire caused by Devon when she was holding a fire crackler, dreams of the concert are dashed not only for Gabby and Devon, but also for their entire school. Desperate to see their idols on their home turf and not to be social outcasts for the remainder of high school, the two friends take matters of delivering the band into their own hands. They decide to kidnap the band with the help of Lincoln (Marcus T. Paulk) and Pete. They manage to kidnap four members of 5 Leo Rise and they let go one but the other one agrees to play at their school. Ritchie (Eric Dill) is not up for it, so they decide to throw eggs at him and get Devon to dress up as the Velvet Raven (Ritchie's favorite comic book character) to convince Ritchie to play. He finally confesses that he lip syncs because he has stage fright. Gabby comes up with an idea to help him sing in front of a crowd by getting them to dress up in really funny costumes. I promise Part 6 will be the greatest L4N episode -ever- ... unless you're a Horde fanboy... Doomhammer made a deal with the coward Human King Aiden Perenolde. Orgrim would allow Alterac to survive if his army would be allowed to pass through safely and head on a straight path towards Capital City. Such betrayal could doom all of mankind, but Perenolde didn't care. He was greedy and didn't fully support the Alliance from the beginning anyway. But before they could get there, Orgrim had to fulfill a promise he had made to Zul'jin, leader of the forest trolls. This deal was that Zul'jin would send his troops to fight alongside the Horde if Orgrim would help them take down The High Elves of Quel'thalas. The trolls had a long hatred of the elves and it was their dream to slaughter them all. This dream finally had a chance to come true. Orgrim's army charged in with a blaze of glory and began to kick ass and take names... until the Elves knew they were there and Sylvanas and Alleria windrunner started going all John J. Keeshan on their green skinned asses, pushing the Horde back and forcing them to make their way towards Capital City through Alterac.
